This Bishop’s Commission of the Diocese of San Bernardino provides information and resources to the Catholic LGBT community. The Commission supports LGBT Catholics, their families, friends and parishes as we all walk our journey together as disciples of Christ. We recognize that all of God’s children are gifted and called for a purpose in God’s design.
Vision Statement
The Bishop’s Commission’s main goals are to help everyone:
- Understand how to be more inclusive and reach out to others.
- Support LGBT Catholics, their families and friends.
- Educate parish communities to include pastoral care to LGBT Catholics.
- Realize that all are welcome to the table of the Lord.
